In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems across our facilities. You will carry out preventative maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine electrical maintenance and inspections within commercial property and retail outlets.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults, wiring issues, and control systems.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade electrical systems in compliance with regulations.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to support production and operational needs.
- Fire alarm and emergency light testing.
- EICR and EIC certification.
- Ensure all work meets health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
Requirements
- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years hands-on experience.
- Strong ability to work alone and within a team.
- Good communications with clients.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work shifts and respond to emergency call-outs.
